ON THE ROAD.

BACHMAN & TURNER.

Former bands:
THE GUESS WHO, BACHMAN-TURNER OVERDRIVE.

My guitar influences growing up were:
CHET ATKINS, LENNY BREAU, HANK MARVIN, ERIC CLAPTON.

The guitars I use are:
A PAIR OF '57 LES PAUL GIBSON GOLD TOPS, A PAIR OF 59 LES PAUL STANDARD BURSTS.

The strings and tunings I use are:
10-52 THOMASTICK ENFELD STANDARD TUNING.

My current rig setup consists of:
FENDER DEVILLE AMP, FULLTONE PEDALS.

The greatest invention for guitars is:
BIGSBY .

My normal songwriting process consists of:
A GUITAR RIFF OR CHORD SEQUENCE TO START, THEN HOOK CHORUS LINE, THEN VERSES TO TELL THE STORY AND THEN FINDING TEMPO AND GROOVE TO MAKE IT WORK.

My favorite guitar solo from our band:
“AMERICAN WOMAN”.

“I FEEL FREE” - CLAPTON .

Favorite all-time song (any artist) is:
“TOMORROW NEVER KNOWS” - BEATLES.

Favorite song by our band:
“TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS.”

Favorite song to perform in front of a live audience:
“TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS.”

My Career highlight thus far is:
PLAYING AT SARS FEST IN TORONTO IN FRONT OF HALF MILLION PEOPLE WITH AC/DC AND THE STONES.

My most embarrassing moment on stage:
RIPPING THE BACK SEAM OF MY PANTS.

Other than my guitar and amps, the one piece of my gear that I cannot live without is:
ROLAND TAPE ECHO 201.

The first song I ever mastered on guitar:
“I WALK THE LINE.”

My first guitar was:
HARMONY ACOUSTIC.

The first time I ever heard our band on the radio was (when and where):
IN A CAR IN WINNIPEG AND HEARD "SHAKIN ALL OVER" PLAYED AND THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHO WE WERE CAUSE THE RECORD LABEL HAD CHANGED OUR NAME TO 'THE GUESS WHO".

If I am only sure of one thing in life, It's:
WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE.

The one ritual I always perform prior to going on stage is:
EAT A BANNANA AND DRINK COCONUT WATER FOR ENERGY.

The exact moment I knew I would pursue a career in music was:
WINNING "KING OF THE SADDLE" AT AGE 3 YEARS OLD.

The one thing most fans don't know about me is:
I PLAYED THE VIOLIN FROM AGE 5-14.

The best advice I could give beginning guitarists:
PRACTICE.

My 3 all-time favorite albums:
CHRIS REA GREATEST HITS, HAVE YOU EVER BEEN EXPERIENCED-HENDRIX, WHEELS OF FIRE=CREAM LIVE.

Favorite junk food:
HAAGEN DAAS STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM.

My biggest pet peeve:
I HATE WHEN PEOPLE ARE LATE.

The word or catch phrase I say too much is:
“ INCREDIBLE.”

The hardest part of my job:
TRAVELLING.

What I like to do in my "off" time (hobbies):
SWIM.

The first thing I do when I come home from touring is:
LAUNDRY.

Previous or first day job:
NONE.
